Discover Destiny Membership Class - Sunday, June 9, 2013
12:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the Ministry Center

The Discover Destiny Membership Class is a basic introduction to our church family. You will learn about our beliefs on salvation, Destiny’s vision, and our church’s strategy and structure.

You will also learn about the history of our church and the plans for Destiny’s future. This class is a requirement for membership, but attendance does not require you to join the church.

The Destiny Ministry Center is located at 9408 Ravenna Road, in the back of the Compass Computer building, Twinsburg, OH.

You may sign up online or at the Information Table after services.

Akron Aeros Haven of Rest Night

BASEBALL GAME FUND RAISER FOR HAVEN OF REST

The Akron Aeros minor league baseball is playing on Friday June 21, 2013 at 7:05 p.m. against the New Britain Rock Cats at Canal Park in Akron. Everyone is invited! It will be a fun family night out for all members of the Destiny family. Fireworks after the game is included. Tickets cost $8:00 per person. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Haven of Rest. Please visit the Mission and Outreach table to purchase tickets. All money is due by Sunday, May 26, 2013.

Marriage Ministry Salsa Lessons!

Destiny’s Marriage Ministry presents: Salsa Dance Lessons for married and engaged couples. There are four 90 minute sessions by instructors; $60 per couple. Fridays July 19, 26, August 2 & 9, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m., Stone Ledge Barn, 9597 Darrow Road, Twinsburg. Refreshments served. Sign up begins in June.

Destiny Women’s Summer Bible Study

Come grow with us, Wednesdays, 6:30 – 8:00 pm., June 5th – July 17th, 2013.

We will be meeting at the Destiny Ministry Center for a study entitled ”One in a Million: Journey to Your Promised Land” By Priscilla Shirer. One in a Million is an opportunity for us to experience our deliverance from strongholds, to conquer our wilderness living, and to claim our God-given inheritance.

Sign up at the Information Table on Sundays by May 15th. Space is limited. A Members book is required at the cost of $12.00. Please be ready with a check made out to Destiny Church (with women’s bible study on the memo line) when you sign up. (Please do not put checks in the church offering.) Mid-Week Bible Study

Pastor Trent is leading a study of the book, “Emotionally Healthy Spirituality” by Peter Scazzero. The eight-week study begins on May 7 and meets every Tuesday through June 26, 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the Destiny Ministry Center.

Galatians for You Study

Pastor Calvin is leading an eight-week bible study on the book of Galatians at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings beginning April 14, 2013. You will be reading the book, Galatians For You by Timothy Keller, along with the Galatians: Gospel Matters study guide.

Destiny’s 9th Church Anniversary!

It brings us much pleasure to extend this invitation to you, our family and friends of Destiny Church, as we celebrate our 9-year church anniversary on Sunday, March 17, 2013. This anniversary event will be held during our 10:00 a.m. worship service and will include an uplifting sermon presented by our Pastors, inspirational music and a fellowship meal following the service.

The 2013 Stone Ledge Pledge Drive is underway. The 2013 Stone Ledge Pledge is our first step in moving forward with our desired goal of paying Stone Ledge (9597 Darrow Road) and the adjacent Turk property (9561 Darrow Road)

off within 18 months.

Our target for this giving event is a commitment of $8500+ a month to cover all property expenses and pay additional principal on the mortgage each month.
