Lydia Faber

We are very glad to announce Lydia Faber as our new Children’s Ministry Coordinator. . . .

Lydia and her husband, Kevin, have been members of Destiny for over two years.  They moved from Warren, Ohio four years ago where they served in Children’s Ministry at North-Mar church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance.  Lydia has worked with children for the last 9 years as a daycare teacher, Sunday School teacher, and nanny.  Aside from loving children in the name of Jesus, Lydia also enjoys running, reading, and baking.

Lydia will focus mainly on the relational aspects of Sunday mornings working closely with the parents, teachers, and children to bring about transformation to our families. We believe that Lydia’s new role will be able to bring several attributes to the team that we need more of. Her intelligence is backed by her experience in childcare and child development and fortified by a deep passion for loving children. More importantly, she has a heart that is committed first and foremost to the Lord and He has focused her heart on children and parents. Her increased role will allow the already wonderful teachers and helpers to love kids at a greater level and it will also allow Pastor Paul to take care of the more administrative and teacher/helper development aspects of the ministry as Children’s Ministry Director. We are so excited to see what God will do in and through Lydia, the teachers, and the helpers.

We pray that each family is touched deeply by the entire Destiny Family and especially by the Children’s Ministry Team.
